When is static text available?
As a headless CMS (Content Management System), FORGE delivers the site structure to the built-in rendering engine and custom ones.
Static text addition is only available for custom rendering engines.

Adding static text
- Select Add text in the right menu and select the azure-highlighted slot where you want to add the static text:
- In the text editor, write the static text for the currently selected language. E.g., at step 1, select the first slot and enter This is the static text for English UK.:
- Select Save in the bottom-right of the text editor. The entered text displays into the selected slot:
Manage translations
- Select the static text you want to translate, then select the language for which you want to add the translation. E.g., select the text added in the previous paragraph and the French translation:
- Hover over the translation and select Create:
- In the text editor that displays, write the translated static text:
- Select Create to save the translated static text.
- By changing the current language, the corresponding translation displays in the static text slot:
