How to save a blog post as a template
Editors can save a LIVE BLOGGING post as a template. This is useful when needing to easily and quickly create a blog post with multiple parts, for example, a blog with text and video content.
To save a blog post as a template, take the following steps:
- Create a new blog post in the Post Creation Area. Then, select the options icon next to the PUBLISH button, and select SAVE AS TEMPLATE.
- Specify a template name and select OK.
Note: Saved templates include post parts, tags, and properties. Each of these only appears as tick boxes if they're added by editors to the post. Editors can choose whether to include post parts, tags, and properties as part of the template, too.
Open a saved template through the dropdown menu in the top-left corner of the Post Creation Area:
How to set a default template
In the template list, over hover a template name to displays the heart icon: select the heart icon to make the template as default.
Once selected, the heart icon displays like in the screenshot below:
When creating a new post, LIVE BLOGGING automatically applies the default template.
Note: Default and Advertisement Post are system templates; you cannot select them as favorites.
How to delete a post template
In the templates list, hover over the template to delete and select the delete icon.
