Using the Sharing tab

This feature enables editors to share published stories on social media, directly from FORGE.

Editors can share published stories on three supported social media channels:

• Apple News
• Facebook
• X (former Twitter)

Sharing a story on Apple News

To share a published story on Apple News, follow these three steps.

1. Select the Sharing tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open Apple News.
2. Select an Account, Channel, and Template. Each dropdown populates automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select SHARE ON APPLE NEWS.

Sharing a story on Facebook

To share a published story on Facebook, follow these three steps.

1. Select the Sharing tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open Facebook.
2. Select an Account, Page, and your Post Text. Each dropdown will fill automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select SHARE ON APPLE FACEBOOK.

Sharing a story on X (former Twitter)

To share a published story on X, follow these three steps.

1. Select the Sharing tab in the right-hand column of a story, then open X.
2. Select an Account and your X Text. Each dropdown will fill automatically when there's only one available option.
3. Select SHARE ON APPLE TWITTER.

Viewing and deleting published posts

A message confirms when a post is successfully published. Editors can view their published posts from their chosen social media channels by using the View button. Editors have the option to remove published posts from their chosen social media channels by selecting Delete.
