In this article, we cover how to log in to the FORGE ecosystem of apps.

Signing up

You're new to FORGE and ready to learn about your new Content Management System (CMS).

To make sure your work is safely protected, there are a few steps to take before you can log in to FORGE for the first time.

  1. On the GUIShell Login page, select the AZUREB2C option.
  2. Select the Sign up now link.


  3. Select the Send verification code button and enter your new password. Refer to the password requirements in red.
  4. Check your email and copy and paste the verification code into the field provided, then select Verify code.
    If you have not received a code, select the Send new code button. Once you've verified the code and are happy with your password, select Create.


  5. You're redirected to the User Details page. Complete the First Name and Last Name fields and select UPDATE DETAILS.


  6. Lastly, a blank page with no FORGE apps displays. This is because a member of the Deltatre team needs to grant you access to the right products — like FORGE Back Office.
    Please reach out to your main Product or Project contact at Deltatre.

Note: We appreciate there are quite a few steps here — but this process is in place for security reasons. You only have to take all of these steps when you log in for the first time — when you re-log in, it's much more straightforward!

After account creation and initial login, the login process only requires your name and password.

Production (PRD) vs Staging (STG)

Clients receive two links for FORGE when a product is live. They are:

  1. Production (PRD) This is the live version of your product, and any changes made in this version of FORGE are seen by your fans. Check whether you're working in the production environment by looking for PRD in the URL link, for example: https://prd-yourwebsite-guishell.deltatre.net/
  2. Staging (STG) This is the test version of your product. Any changes made in this version of FORGE are not seen by your fans. This version of FORGE is useful if you want to test a new feature. Check whether you're working in the test environment by looking for STG in the URL link, for example: https://stg-yourwebsite-guishell.deltatre.net/

Login and apps

Once you're set up with your credentials, log in to FORGE and select the required app.

Permissions define app visibility. Speak to your administrator for further help.
